Presenting Arnold Schönbergs „String Trio op.45“ (1946) and Christoph Herndlers  „Lieder ohne Orte“ (2014), PHACE marks the corner stones of a trip through the history of music.
Schönberg as a pioneer of musical modernism and Christoph Herndler as a composer fathoming the boundaries of music, whose graphic and intermedial scores at first glance seem like geometrical-abstract art. Both works fascinate in a special way and captivate the listener with their unmistakable handwriting and sound world.
