The second concert of the PHACE series, consisting of three parts and organized in collaboration with WIEN MODERN, focuses on works by female composers, whose styles are as different as they can possibly be: Olga Neuwirth, Joanna Wozny, Ying Wang, Katharina Klement (premiere) and Chaya Czernowin (premiere) as a highlight, who is also composing a new piece for us. In addition, a work by Peter Jakober (winner of the Erste-Bank-Composing Competition 2015) and Beat Furrer’s linea dell’orizzonte will be performed.

    Im zweiten, dreiteiligen Zykluskonzert in Zusammenarbeit mit WIEN MODERN legen wir einen Hauptschwerpunkt auf Werke von Komponistinnen, die stilistisch unterschiedlicher nicht sein könnten: Olga Neuwirth, Joanna Wozny, Ying Wang, Katharina Klement (UA) und Chaya Czernowin (UA) als Höhepunkt, die ebenfalls für uns ein neues Werk schreibt.
    Dazu kommen Werke von Peter Jakober und von Beat Furrer.
